Mario Solarte Takes Next Step with Humboldt in the SJHL

Prosper Sports Group client Mario Solarte has signed with the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).

The Chicago, Illinois native spent the 2025-26 season playing at both the AAA and junior levels. Solarte recorded nine goals and seven assists in 30 games with Team Illinois 18U AAA before making appearances with the Pueblo Bulls in the NCDC and Chippewa Steel in the NAHL.

With Chippewa, the 5-foot-9 forward recorded six points in 17 games, finishing with one goal and five assists.

Solarte will now head to Humboldt for the next step in his junior hockey career.
