From Alaska to the BCHL: Jack Whittingham Signs with Okotoks Oilers

Prosper Sports Group client Jack Whittingham has officially signed with the Okotoks Oilers for the 2026–2027 season, taking the next step in his development path.

The 17-year-old forward from Anchorage, Alaska has steadily climbed the ranks at the AAA level, most recently putting together a strong 2025–26 campaign with Colorado Rampage 18U AAA. Whittingham recorded 47 points (25 goals, 22 assists) in 63 games, showcasing his offensive instincts and ability to produce consistently against top competition.

Standing at 5’9”, 181 pounds, the right-shot forward plays with pace and compete, combining quick decision-making with a scoring touch that has continued to develop each season. His progression from 14U through 18U reflects a player committed to improving and earning opportunities at the next level.

The British Columbia Hockey League is widely regarded as one of the top junior leagues in North America, providing a strong platform for NCAA advancement. Whittingham’s signing positions him in an environment where he can continue to grow his game against elite junior talent.
