Chippewa Adds Defenseman Michael Gravina for 2025–26 Season
The Chippewa Steel have added Prosper Sports Group client, Michael Gravina, to their roster for the upcoming 2025–26 season.
Gravina, a 2005-born defenseman from Colts Neck, NJ, is eager to make his mark in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) after spending most of the 2024–25 season rehabbing an injury suffered during a preseason game with the Danbury Hat Tricks (NAHL).
Known for his steady play, physical presence, and ability to move pucks efficiently out of the zone, Gravina is expected to be a reliable addition to the Steel’s blue line.

Before his injury, Gravina was a standout defenseman for the WB/Scranton Knights in the NCDC. His development began with the New Jersey Colonials and New Jersey Titans youth organizations, where he played a key role in their success. He also made his mark at Christian Brothers Academy, a nationally recognized program in New Jersey celebrated for both academic excellence and athletic tradition.
With his size, mobility, and defensive-first mindset, Gravina is poised to make an immediate impact as he begins his first full NAHL campaign with Chippewa.
