Jacob Smith Earns NAHL Opportunity with El Paso Rhinos for Upcoming Season

Prosper Sports Group is pleased to announce that client Jacob Smith has been tendered by the El Paso Rhinos of the North American Hockey League for the upcoming season.

The Ottawa, Ontario native has continued his development through several levels of junior hockey in Canada, most recently spending time in the OJHL and CCHL during the 2025-26 season.

Smith previously played two seasons with the Soo Thunderbirds in the NOJHL, including a strong 2023-24 campaign where he recorded 66 points in 58 games. This past season, he split time between the Haliburton County Huskies and the Smiths Falls Bears, adding 11 points in 13 playoff games with Smiths Falls.

The 2006-born forward is a left-shot centerman who brings speed, work ethic, and versatility to the lineup as he prepares for the next step in his hockey career.
