Standout Defenseman Jacob Turcotte Set to dominate Winchendon Prep Blue Line

Jacob Turcotte, a 2009-born defenseman from South Berwick, ME, continues to establish himself as one of the top young blueliners in his age group. Last season with Seacoast Performance Academy 15U, Turcotte was a steady presence on the backend, posting 26 points in 55 games. He also stood out at USA Hockey National Camp this past summer, where his skating, vision, and ability to control play made him a dominant force.

Now set to suit up for the Islanders Hockey Club Prep program as well as Winchendon Prep, Turcotte is poised to play a key role on their varsity prep teams this season. At 5’10” and 163 pounds, he brings a strong two-way game, reliable puck-moving ability, and the poise to anchor a defensive unit. With his continued development, Turcotte is a player to watch as he takes the next step in his career.
