Liam McGuern Headed to Training Camp with Chicoutimi Saguenéens

Prosper Sports Group is pleased to share that defenseman Liam McGuern will be attending training camp with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the QMJHL.

McGuern, 18, from Alta Loma, CA, spent the 2024–25 season split between the Maine Nordiques (NAHL) and the West Chester Wolves (NCDC).  The 6’3”, 209-pound left-shot, shutdown defenseman has a fantastic stick that is matched with his strong skating ability that allows him to break up plays with ease.

Prosper Sports Group proudly recognizes Maine Nordiques General Manager & Head Coach, Nick Skerlick; West Chester Wolves General Manager & Head Coach, RC Lyke; and West Chester Wolves Associate Head Coach, Tyler Casillo, for their exceptional role in preparing Liam for this incredible opportunity. Their unwavering dedication to player development, relentless pursuit of excellence, and proven track record of helping athletes elevate their careers to new heights have set the standard for what it means to invest in a player’s future.

Prosper Sports Group wishes Liam the best as he takes this next step in his career.
