Chance Uzzell Shines at NAHL Top Prospects Tournament

Prosper Sports Group is proud to highlight client Chance Uzzell, who recently competed in the 2025 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament as a member of the Selects Black team. Uzzell, a standout defenseman for the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks, played a key role in his squad’s success, helping them finish as the only undefeated team in the tournament.

During the showcase, held at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, Uzzell registered two assists in Selects Black’s 4-1 victory over the East Division. He followed that up with a strong defensive showing in the team’s 3-1 win over the Central Division, capping off a successful event.

Uzzell’s selection to the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament marks a historic moment for the Hat Tricks franchise, as it was the first time multiple defensemen from the team were chosen. The veteran blueliner has been a force this season, recording 19 points (8 goals, 11 assists) in 32 games.

“It was a great honor to be chosen for this showcase,” Uzzell said. “With this being my last year, I wanted to go out there, work hard, and take advantage of the opportunity to show my skills in front of college scouts.”

With the tournament now behind him, Uzzell and the Hat Tricks shift their focus back to the NAHL regular season, as they prepare for a critical matchup against the New Jersey Titans.

Stay tuned for more updates on Uzzell and all Prosper Sports Group athletes.
